I enjoyed my experience with my friends. The food was decent, great place for parties.

We have lived in Fayetteville for seven years and drive by this restaurant every day. We tried it for the first time tonight and throughly enjoyed the experience. Very classy ambience, excellent service and great food. We will now become regular customers. My wife had the filet and loved the char and flavor. I had the red snapper which had a great Mediterranean flavor. The beef Wellington appetizer is a must and I must say the wine was very reasonably priced. We had a Napa wine that retails in a store for $30 and was only $55 here. Most restaurants triple the shelf price so this was a surprise. Try this place out but do book a table, they get busy for a reason.

Had dinner at Franks last night and had a wonderful time. We ordered the Tomahawk Steak for two and a couple lobster tails. It came with a salad, baked potatoes loaded and grilled vegetables. We were celebrating an anniversary and they were so attentive and the food was fantastic! The steak was cooked to a perfect medium rare and the lobster was melt in our mouth delicious. The service was amazing as expected with Tim as our server. He is the best! There was a singer for our entertainment and it was just a great evening all around.

OMG, this place was 5 stars. all the food was great. the service was top notch. i cannot tell you enuff about this experience. the "owner" and everyone in the place was pleasant and welcoming from the parking lot to everywhere in the place. major lesson, make a reservation. we did a drop in on saturday at 4pm and were lucky to get a spot but it began to fill up really quickly. its an old school location on a little lake. lots of outside seating. the mini beef wellington appetizers were so tender and tasty. the stuffed mushrooms were incredible. the salmon was wonderful. the risotto was tasty. everything we ate was sooooo good. my leftover were still great the next day. i cannot wait to go back but i will make a reservation.

Oh my goodness! Let me start with the service, Nina was our server and she was OUTSTANDING, she made my birthday dinner an experience. Next the ambiance and atmosphere was a sheer delight, it was cozy and felt so warm and inviting. Now the food, simply the best Fried Green tomatoes and my lamb chops were amazing. This was my first time dining at Frank's at The Old Mill BUT it will not be last. Highly recommend!!

Hi, I wanted to just give 5 stars for Franks and move on with my life but I can't due to this comment box asking what went well?EVERYTHING!!!!!

Omg... we did a to go order for tonight but we sat at the bar and waited for it.. and decided to get a drink while we waited. Taylor is the best bartender at Franks. I have had quite a few drinks at Franks and this is THEE BEST Georgia peach I have had. I only want to come if she's making the drinks. She's amazing!!!! It was so good!! I cannot wait to come back and get another drink from her. She's my newfonewfound favorite....

Franks at the old mill is a place that everyone wants to experience. If you have not been here before the time is now. Great yourself to something special. They have a fantastic menu that has something for everyone. While they are known for their oyster-special they also have quality red meat, and chicken dishes as well. The restaurant can hold many people so I am compelled to address in this review it is best to get there before of after the crows has dispersed if you want a worthy experience. I believe that most locals operate in that fashion. However, they have a way of getting you in, maximizing the dining journey and making memories for your next visit. Lets not forget about the live music to further enhance the vibration of the building that is swarmed with a pond and outside decking where natural habitat surroundings level up the total package.

Visited on a Thursday evening at 6:30. We were celebrating multiple birthdays as a party of 8. The server mentioned the restaurant was packed & he had many tables so that impacted the service. There was also a new bartender who messed up a few drinks. Other than the service lacking a bit, the food was surprisingly good. The vibe of the restaurant is very traditional with wood paneling, overlooking a creek. The food was tasty, fresh and the portions large. You MUST save room for dessert. Spinach Pies -(4/5) Flaky, cheese goodness. Mini Beef Wellington (5/5) - Flaky, tender, juicy perfection. I wish we ordered 2. Shrimp Bruschetta (3/5) - Decent but would have been more enjoyable if it was not so salty. Stuffed Mushrooms (3/5) - I didn't not taste the crab, mostly cheesy. Textures are interesting, I wouldn't order again but my parents enjoyed it. Calamari (3/5) - Light, fresh but I prefer it a buy crispier Coffee Rubbed Ribeye (4/5)- Coffee provided a sweet but peppery sear. Cooked well. Lobster Trio (5/5) - Perfect! Lamp Chops (4/5) - 3 large Chops Grilled Snapper (3/5 )- A little dry but the lemon butter sauce made it more interesting. Shrimp & Salmon Alfredo (5/5) - Very cheesy, huge portion and fair amount of shrimp. Carmel Chocolate Cheescake (4/5) Raspberry White Chocolate Cheescake (4/5)
